Abstract
In this study, the understanding basic principles of science were investigated in 6- and 7-year old children by visualizing the science with activities, experiments and observations. Children were assessed with the pre- and final-evaluation forms and totally ten activities were employed. In those activities, children created some artistic objects like a simple volcano, a stethoscope, a building and a motor vehicle for water. The results of 414 participants revealed that 86% increase was achieved in understanding of the basic principles included.
