Abstract
This keynote speech argued the importance of inserting social development context to the environment behaviour studies in Asia, as culture, belief and social circumstances would contribute to the understanding of Asian in its global and local dynamics. In this regards despite the importance of the general narratives in EB studies for the behavioural knowledge development, it has been challenged to be more contextual and communicate better to community of praxis. It is further argued that Asian EB studies should contribute to widen the understanding of the social construction view in Asian context to explain the richness of social realm of Asians.
