Abstract

This article describes the development of teaching keyboard harmony with the help of different digital learning material generations prepared by the author. Important factors proved to be functioning hardware and software and the continued tailoring of the learning material. The experiences are consistent with those in computer-assisted education in general, where better learning results are achieved with motivated students. The students commented positively on the independent and motivating method of practicing. They also appreciated the transferability of the skills to the school task and considered the assessment of the digital portfolio to be fair.
