Self-image and excessive concern over weight

Distortion of the body image involves multi-dimensional aspects about one's perception, attitudes and behaviors, as indicated by Cash, Brown (1989) and Thompson (1990). In this study we try to point out that the excessive concern over weight will have negative influences not only on the way someone sees his body, but also on the entire self-image.
