Any form of violence within the family system may lead to unwanted behaviors, which stem, in the case of adolescents, from maladaptive psycho-emotional and antisocial reactions. That is why there is an increasing need for psychologists to intervene in reducing and modifying such behaviors. Thus, we have elaborated and implemented an experiential-systemic counseling model (E.S.C.) on a group of adolescent victims of intra-family violence, with their parents. Through this procedure, we realized that the model becomes even more efficient, as we can work on the environment in which the adolescent lives, as well, and thus, more certainty can be offered about changing behaviors and consolidating acquisitions obtained by the entire family due to their participation in counseling sessions.
