Abstract

The paper explores the valences of the simplest musical sound (the bichord) in order to create a projective test dedicated to the clinics of depression. What can be noticed is the displacement of the predisposed zone of the graphic act (the tree drawing) to the lower left corner of the page, concomitently with the shifting to the diaphonic of the sound stimulus. The results show a parallel movement between the harmonic (the diaphonic-symphonic axis), semantic (disphoric-euphoric axis) and the predisposed graphic zone, which can be taken as a reference point in creating a projective instrument which has the bichord as its material stimulus.
