Abstract

We collected data from Japanese college students (n = 180) to examine what kind of recipient's responses is promoted with recipient's emotions when he/she presented with a difficult problem in counseling and helping situation. We used structural equitation modeling analysis to estimate the relationship between recipient's emotion and responses. Results indicated that there were particular relevant between emotions and responses. Recipient's responses caused in counseling situation varied with the types of the experienced emotion.
