Abstract

Conflict and different studies was done about the effect of body mass index on delivery outcomes. Our objective was to effect body mass index on delivery outcomes in hospital of Tamin Ejtemaee in city of Hamedan.Women admitted in unit of labor were invited to participate in this study. During a 3-mounth period, 1272 eligible women gave consent and were randomized in this study. Chi square test and wilcoxon were used for data's analyze.Obesity and overweight of pregnancy was significant correlation with the before parity, increase of weight neonate, gestational age, duration of active phase and second stage of labor.Overweight and obesity pregnancy is associated with adverse pregnancy outcome in women.
