Abstract

This study is a qualitative case study of a geography field trip of undergraduate geography students at Suleyman Demirel University. It conceives fieldwork as an experiential activity in which an understanding of the experiences of lecturers and students in their contexts is important. The aim was to enlighten the application of field trip method of undergraduate geography students and their lecturers. For this purpose, ‘semi-constructed interview form’ was used. The results of the study were analyzed by using content analyses procedure. Implications of these findings are discussed and evaluated in terms of geography education.
