Abstract
We analyze the modalities of burnout manifestations to 115 teaching staff. The instrument used is Maslach Burnout Inventory whose psychometric qualities have been analysed factorially on a population formed exclusively of 162 Romanian teachers. The study demonstrates that the level of education where the teaching activity is performed significantly influences the degree of fatigue felt by the teaching staff. The psychopedagogical implications of the results are supposed to outline some measures for reducing the stress at our workplace, so that the efficacy of the didactic activity can manifest to the individual potential of every teacher.
