Abstract
Using a multiple baseline across participants design, the present study examined the effectiveness of individualized social stories on reducing of challenging behaviours of three boys with autism. Following the intervention, the numbers of challenging behaviours reduced for two out of three participants. Results from this study suggest that social story interventions may be effective in decreasing the numbers of challenging behaviors within the classroom. © 2011 Published by Elsevier Ltd.
