Abstract
Learning styles are seen to be important to consider in the educational process of the academic world which is also supported by literature. Among other variables, differences of learning styles may be influenced by language, culture, educational department and gender. The purpose of this study was to examine the learning styles of Arabic, Turkish and Cypriot university students studying in the Near East University, enrolled in the Engineering and Educational Sciences Department. This study discusses the influence of culture, gender, native language and department on learning styles.
