The objective is to omit the Gender Differential Item Functioning (GDIF) in the items to improve the quality of this instrument in the future. The survey involved 517 students in Kuantan, Pahang. The results show tobtained = -1.88 and pvalue = 0.061 meaning that, there is no significant difference between the critical thinking of male and female students. GDIF analysis using WINSTEP version 3.64.2 indicates that 15% of the items in MyCT instruments are still gender bias.
