Abstract

Art is an important element playing a vital role in the education of our children. While activities like drawing, painting and building are complex processes, the children both gain an experience regarding the life during these efforts of theirs and present to us information beyond the painting by reflecting their emotions and opinions about these and themselves. Appearing as an indication of a child's perception, skill and creative power, the painting is also regarded as a determining factor in emotional and social instruction. The role of art instruction starting as of pre-education is great in ensuring the emotional and social development of the children. The children will be enabled to make their lives happy and successful through art, for example controlling extreme emotional reactions, perception of aesthetically valuable products, the feeling of confidence and respect, establishing positive communication with others and developing an attitude against the violence.
