Abstract

A novel strategy was proposed to improve the sensitivity of molecularly imprinted electrochemical sensor by employing dendrimer multi-label template molecule. The determination relies on a competition reaction between poly diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid-glycol ester (PDTPA)-FcA labeled GA3 and GA3 in the sample. Since one cavity corresponded with multiple FcA, instead of only one FcA, the intensity of the detecting signal was greatly enhanced. The experimental results indicated that the molecularly imprinted electrochemical sensor was sensitive to GA3 detection at a concentration from 1.0 × 107 M to 2.0 × 109 M, with a detection limit of 9.3 × 1010 M. In addition, the feasibility of the sensor was verified in the analysis of series of real beer samples with good reproducibility.
