Abstract

As a new platform to study molecular behaviors at a single molecule level, nanofluidics is expected to have wide applications in some fields such as biotechnology. Being one of the prerequisites for the application of nanofluidics, fabrication of nanostructure has attracted more and more attention. This review mainly describes the progress of template method in the fabrication of nanostructure for nanofluidic applications during the last few years. Besides the most widely used templates, anodized aluminum oxide and porous silica, other substances and different procedures to fabricate nanostructures for biochemical analysis are also discussed.
