Abstract
A collection of interesting facts about arsenic and its compounds is presented. Its intermediate behavior between metallic and non-metallic is invoked when describing the elemental state and some of its natural forms. Mention is given of the most famous arsenic compounds used by mankind for different applications, particularly since the 18th century to current days.
