Abstract
⺠We accounted for additives in the numerical optimization of preparative LC. ⺠Different numeric optimization strategies were compared and evaluated. ⺠We showed that inclusion of the additive in the optimization strategy is important. ⺠We showed that a poorly selected additive can prevent high production rates.
