Abstract
⺠Heterogeneously catalyzed hydrolysis reactions in a fixed-bed chromatographic reactor packed with a strong acidic ion exchange resin. ⺠An isothermal equilibrium dispersive model used for simulations. ⺠Essential model parameters determined experimentally and kinetic parameters estimated by fitting curves. ⺠The work provides insight regarding the influence of temperature and flow rate on the model parameters and the performance criteria.
