Abstract
⺠Design of batch chromatography under reduced purity requirements is investigated. ⺠Equilibrium theory based method requires known isotherm parameters. ⺠A short-cut method requires a single experimental or simulated design chromatogram. ⺠The short-cut method is recommended for low column efficiency. ⺠A large injection volume is recommended for the design chromatogram.
