Abstract
⺠N-benzylideneaniline-type imines were characterised by UV-vis, ATR-IR, and Raman spectroscopy. ⺠Effect of substituents on the UV-vis spectra is discussed. ⺠Influence of the torsion angle between the aryl groups on the UV-vis spectra is shown. ⺠Solvatochromatism and tautomerism of two selected imines were studied by UV-vis and Raman spectroscopy.
