Abstract
⺠We have analyzed the phosphate mineral zanazziite and determined its formula. ⺠The mineral was studied by electron microprobe, Raman and infrared spectroscopy. ⺠Multiple bands in the bending region supports the concept of a reduction in symmetry of phosphate anion.
