Abstract
⺠In this study we have synthesized cadmium sulfide (CdS) quantum dots. ⺠Varying concentration of MPA leads to the production of different sized quantum dots. ⺠With the increasing size the fluorescence peak shifted to right. ⺠The largest synthesized particles significantly elongate the lag phase growth of E. coli.
