Abstract
⺠Steric interaction must be reduced in order to obtain larger β0 values. ⺠NBO analysis elucidates the delocalization within the molecule. ⺠Probable charge transfer (CD) taking place inside the chromophore. ⺠Charge distribution was calculated by NBO and Mulliken methods.
