Abstract
⺠Novel Zn(II) and Al(III) salen complexes were synthesized and fully characterized. ⺠The complexes exhibited intense fluorescence at room temperature. ⺠The complexes are promising candidates as photoactive materials and anion carriers. ⺠The novel complexes exhibited remarkable antimicrobial activities.
