Abstract
⺠Fluorophore is entrapped in the β-CD to form inclusion complex in the ground state, while no complexation with α-CD has occurred. ⺠For methyl o-hydroxy p-dimethylaminobenzoate in α- and β-CD, both 1:1 and 1:2 inclusion complexes are formed. ⺠At high CD concentration only 4% (6%) of the fluorophore are localized in the α-CD (β-CD) in the form of 1:2 complex. ⺠The time-resolved experiments gave more insight into the nature and structure of the studied inclusion complexes.
