Abstract
⺠The present article introduces a newly designed monoporphyrin molecule, 1. ⺠For the first time, fullerene-porphyrin interaction is studied in presence of AgNp. ⺠Binding of fullerenes with 1 is clearly demonstrated by fluorescence studies. ⺠1 serves as an effective molecular tweezers for C70 in presence of AgNp.
