Abstract
⺠2R-(â)-6-hydroxytremetone was characterized by infrared and Raman spectroscopy. ⺠A complete assignment of the observed spectral features is proposed. ⺠The theoretical calculations allowed us to obtain a set of scaled force constants. ⺠The nature of the benzyl and furan rings was studied by NBO analysis. ⺠The topological properties of the different rings were analyzed by Bader's theory.
