Abstract
⺠The solvent effects on ν(C=O) of FBF in different solvents are studied by FTIR. ⺠A linear correlation between calculated ν(C=O) and measured ν(C=O) was obtained. ⺠A poor correlation between ν(C=O) of FBF and the AN and KBM is observed. ⺠The LSER offers explanation of solvent-induced stretching frequency shifts.
