Abstract
⺠Operating parameters for single-droplet analysis by ICPâAES were optimized. ⺠Lateral observation mode is preferred over vertical observation mode. ⺠Observation region should be 3 mm downstream of atomization site for best precision. ⺠A new synchronization trigger method based on Hα emission was developed.
