Abstract
⺠In this work the ideal TXRF sample shape is theoretically determined. ⺠Different theoretical sample shapes were investigated. ⺠The ring shape matches the ideal TXRF sample shape best. ⺠It leads to the highest fluorescence intensity and the lowest saturation effect.
