Abstract
We outline the stereoselective separation and analysis of members of six classes of chiral pesticides with high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), which we used to resolve their enantiomers in environmental samples. Our results for resolution showed that chiral HPLC is very effective and powerful for separating and preparing pure-enantiomer pesticides, investigating their enantioselective environmental behavior and, in some cases, toxicity assays.
