In this review, we discuss the motivation for using solid-state NMR (SSNMR) spectroscopy to study pharmaceutical solids, and then give an overview of the information obtained through SSNMR experiments. In addition, we explain the basics of SSNMR spectroscopy and describe several applications to the pharmaceutical field.
