Abstract
The functionality of a new and unique automatic beamsplitter exchange unit for a research bench-top vacuum FT-IR spectrometer is presented. Sample spectra of different solid and powdered material demonstrate beside its usability for a wide spectral range. Very constant measurement conditions lead to excellent spectral quality.
