Abstract
We report on the first demonstration of the study of photo-induced reaction products in a smog chamber by means of wavelength modulated off-axis integrated cavity output spectroscopy (WM-OA-ICOS) at 1.511 μm. The preliminary results of the photolysis of methyl nitrite (CH3ONO) are presented which demonstrates the ability of our system for the degradation mechanisms studies of atmospheric relevant organic compounds.
