Abstract
Identification of components of urinary stones is essential to provide information about the etiological factors considered responsible for stones formation making the therapy and the prevention possible. Morphological examination combined to infrared spectroscopy can provide helpful information about its chemical composition. As the composition of urinary stones varies from one place to another, we have undertaken a study by FTIR of constituents of urinary stones from various patients of El Bayadh region (south west of Algeria).
