Abstract
⺠The modified erythrocyte osmotic fragility measurement is proposed. ⺠Improvement of the method precision by the controlling the final level of hemolysis. ⺠Reduction of intra- and inter-sample variations. ⺠The membrane disturbing proteins at non-hemolytic concentrations do not affect plasma membrane mechanics. ⺠There are experimentally significant differences between human and rabbit erythrocytes.
