Abstract
Time resolved FT-IR spectroscopy in combination with various data analysis techniques has been employed to determine the kinetics of photo-copolymerization reactions. 2D-correlation spectroscopy of the dynamic intensity changes in the 3D-IR data of these complex formulations clearly showed added value in the interpretation of overlapping vibrational bands. Other analytical data evaluation techniques which where applied are univariate method, peak fitted deconvolution and multivariate techniques like SIMPLISMA and multivariate curve resolution (MCR). Kinetic reaction profiles of homo- and copolymerizations have been extracted for each reactive monomer.
