Abstract
⺠Phospholipase D catalyzes the synthesis of cardiolipin-analogous phospholipids. ⺠The enzyme strongly favors ethanolamine derivatives with low molecular volume. ⺠Non-charged alcohols were only poorly introduced into the cardiolipin structure.
