Abstract
A simple, efficient, and environmentally benign method has been developed for the synthesis of 2-amino-4H-chromenes under the heterogeneous catalysis of nanocrystalline magnesium oxide in aqueous media in excellent yields at room temperature. This method provides a green and improved pathway for the synthesis of chromenes in the terms of excellent yields, short reaction times and reusability catalyst.
