Abstract
The effect of doping rare earth element (Gd and Dy) on the properties of Ag(Nb1-xTax)O3 ceramic system was investigated. It was suggested that the addition of rare earth elements could be helpful to reducing the vacancy inside the material and decreasing the dissipation factor (tanδ < 10 × 10−4). Doping properly, the dielectric constant of the system could be improved (ɛ > 550). The influence mechanisms of the dielectric constant doping rare earth elements were investigated.
