Abstract
In this paper our attempt is to investigate the class number problem of imaginary quadratic fields. We establish that the class number of imaginary quadratic field ℚ(−q), for certain positive integer q, is a multiple of 3. We also show that there are infinitely many imaginary quadratic fields whose class numbers are multiples of 3.
