Abstract

Based on a theoretical model proposed for interchain coupled quasi-one-dimensional organic ferromagnet, the effects of the electron–phonon coupling and electron–electron interactions on the CDW and SDW of the system are studied. It is found that the strong electron–phonon coupling will decrease the amplitude of the SDW, which is unfavorable to the ferromagnetic ground state of the system. Moreover, with increasing of the inter-site electron–electron interaction, the system will transfer from a strong SDW state into a strong CDW state, which will weaken the mediating function of the antiferromagnetic SDW along the main chain, and accordingly affect the ferromagnetic coupling intensity between the spins of the side radicals, and finally weaken the stability of the ferromagnetic state in the system.
