Abstract
► EPR intensities of eight cyclic nitroxides decrease with sonolysis time. ► Octanol/water partition coefficients have been determined for each nitroxide. ► There is a linear correlation between initial degradation rate and log Koctanol/water. ► TEMPONE concentration dependence suggests equilibrium between bulk and interfacial regions.
