Abstract
The saturated hole mobility of field effect transistors based on amorphous poly(triarylamine)s having a polydispersity index about 2 was found to increase with number average molecular weight (Mn) up to a limiting value at Mn = 20,000 gmol−1 due to the decrease in end group density. Blending low and high molecular weight polymers was found to give higher mobilities due to improved film coalescence.
