Abstract
Double-layer organic light-emitting devices are used in combination with quantum dots and blue-light-emitting organic molecules to produce electroluminescence covering the entire visible spectrum. Charges injection is shown to be an important mechanism of excitation in quantum dots. Applications to light-emitting devices with greater spectral flexibility are discussed.
