Abstract
Photoemission spectroscopy is used to probe the electronic properties, reactivity and energy level alignment at interfaces of tris{2,5-bis(3,5-bis-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-thieno}[3,4-b,h,n]-1,4,5,8,9,12-hexaazatriphenylene (THAP) deposited on both medium and high work function metallic substrates. Crystalline and non-crystalline metal substrates are used in order to investigate the effect of both the work function and molecular orientation on the physical properties of the THAP layer.
