Abstract
⺠We investigate the decomposition of BSCF by multiple electron microscopical methods. ⺠The formation of a hexagonal and a plate-like phase between 700 and 1000 °C is observed. ⺠The chemical composition of each phase is measured by EDXS. ⺠The crystallographic point groups of single grains are determined by CBED. ⺠High-resolution images of the plate-like phase are analyzed.
