Abstract
We investigated the effect of the particle size on the rate capability and the cycle performance by comparing those of a non-milled FeS (NM-FeS) and a high energy milled FeS (HM-FeS) anode. The particle size of FeS powder decreased from several 10 μm to ca. 300 nm by the high energy milling. The HM-FeS showed better high-rate capability and cycle performance owing to the small particle size.
