Abstract
⺠Application of gelcasting process in ceria membranes formation from microcrystalline powders as well as nanopowders has been proposed. ⺠It was shown that the slurry composition in gelcasting process must be optimized for any ceramic powder with different morphology. ⺠The morphology of the obtained membranes strongly depended on morphology of the starting powder. ⺠Application of nanopowders resulted in significant decrease of sintering temperature, what allowed better control of ceria membranes formation process.
